Turn those "forgotten" coins into a lifetime of change! đđ
Did you know that the Erie Rotary Club is collecting leftover foreign currency to help end Polio forever? Whether itâs a few Euros from a summer vacation, Yen from a business trip, or Pesos from a getaway years agoâthose coins sitting in your junk drawer have the power to save lives.
How about those pesky pennies? You got em? We'll take em!
Through our partnership with Rotary International and the Gates Foundation, every dollar we raise is maximized to provide life-saving vaccines to children around the world.
We were honored to welcome Cindy Rold, District Governor for Rotary District 5450, to our Rotary Club at our December meeting. Cindy brought energy, warmth, and a deeply personal message that resonated with every member in the room.
Through personal stories and examples of inspiring service projects from across the district, she reminded us of the many ways Rotary creates meaningful change. Her visit went beyond sharing updatesâshe encouraged thoughtful conversation about how we can strengthen our clubs by ensuring every member feels seen, valued, and heard.
Cindyâs message reaffirmed our shared commitment to service, connection, and leadership, leaving us inspired and energized as we continue our work in the community.

Big congratulations to our 2025 David McChesney Memorial Scholarship winners
Erie Rotarian Sandi Nieves proudly presented scholarships to Mia (Centaurus) and Melanie (Erie High) for their exceptional service and academic achievement.
Chosen from an impressive group of local students, both shared how Rotaryâs Four-Way Test guides their livesâjust as it does for Rotarians around the world.
These scholarships are made possible by youâour generous neighbors who support Erie Rotary through our annual peach sale.

Each year on July 1st, Rotary clubs around the world begin a new chapterâand so do we here at Erie Rotary. This marks the traditional changing of the guard, when we thank our outgoing leadership and induct a new club president to guide us forward.
As we welcome new leadership, weâre also coming together to map out a shared Vision for the next three years of Erie Rotary. Not just a list of goalsâbut a real game plan, built by all of us, for the future we want to create. We would love your ideas.
