Wind, Pinwheels & Purpose: Erie Rotary at the Farmers Market
What do you get when you mix shark attacks with beachballs, pinwheels, and a busted tent? Just another unforgettable night with the Erie Colorado Rotary Club at the Erie Farmers Market on Thursday, July 17th! Click more to see what we're up to.
We set up shop to share what we’re up to—and let’s just say the wind decided to join the party. Kids chased beachballs down Briggs Street, pinwheels spun like crazy, and our volunteers took on the heroic role of human tent anchors when our trusty old tent finally gave out (may it rest in pieces).
But a little wind doesn’t stop Erie Rotarians.
We had a blast connecting with neighbors, spreading the word about our upcoming Paint Reclamation Day and our legendary Peach Fundraiser—which helps fund scholarships, youth leadership programs, and community service right here in Erie.
And yes, we’re always happy to chat about Rotary—what it is, how it works, and why we keep showing up to serve (even when the wind blows our tent sideways).
If you found yourself smiling at the Farmers Market, helping your kid chase down a runaway beachball, or just wondering what it’s like to be part of something meaningful and fun, maybe it’s time to check us out.
