In Erie, we believe service can be creative, impactful, and green. That’s why Erie Rotary launched its Annual Paint Reclamation Project in partnership with GreenSheen, a nationally recognized paint recycling organization.
Now in its second year, this unique event is more than a community drop-off day—it’s a win for the planet and a win for the people we serve.
Is It a Fundraiser or an Environmental Project?
It’s both.
When you drop off your old or leftover latex paint, you're keeping it out of the landfill, where it would otherwise contribute to hazardous waste and pollution. GreenSheen gives it a second life by recycling it into new, high-quality paint—used in homes, businesses, and communities across the country.
And here’s the local twist:
It's free! However, any donations made when you recycle your paint goes right back into our Erie community—supporting scholarships, youth programs, park improvements, senior outreach, and more.
