Rotary International Community Services

Feb. 19, 2026 6:00 p.m.

This presentation explores what international community service truly means for a Rotary club, highlighting that involvement goes far beyond fundraising and writing a check. It will outline the wide spectrum of opportunities available to clubs—from small, introductory efforts that allow members to “dip their toes” into international service, to deeper partnerships with international host clubs to design, implement, and sustain impactful projects. The presentation will also showcase additional avenues for global engagement, such as sister-city Rotary club relationships, that foster long-term connections, cultural exchange, and collaboration across borders. Together, these examples illustrate how clubs of all sizes and capacities can meaningfully participate in Rotary International Community Services.

Community Stories Project - Sharing storytelling ideas throughout the generations

Apr. 16, 2026 6:00 p.m.

The Community Stories Project was founded by Deborah Cameron, a local journalist with over two decades of experience in corporate marketing copywriting. For the past seven years, she’s worked with older adults and understands both the family interest in hearing stories and perceived barriers in telling them. Her expertise is ideally suited to help individuals move forward with sharing their experience as a gift for their children and grandchildren.
