At the Erie Rotary Club, we believe that when young people are supported, encouraged, and connected, entire communities grow stronger. Youth Services is our commitment to helping the next generation develop leadership skills, expand their horizons, and discover their ability to make a difference.
We focus on creating meaningful opportunities where young people can learn, serve, and lead—both locally and globally.
How We Support Youth in Our Community
Leadership Development
We create pathways for young people to build confidence and leadership skills through hands-on experiences, mentorship, and participation in Rotary-sponsored programs.
Service & Community Engagement
We invite youth to take part in service projects that make a visible difference in Erie and beyond—helping them experience the impact of giving back.
Educational Support
Through scholarships and educational programs, we help students pursue their goals and reduce barriers to opportunity.
Global Awareness
We connect youth to the broader world through Rotary’s international network, helping them understand different cultures and perspectives.
Programs and Opportunities
RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards)
We sponsor students to attend this immersive leadership experience, where they build confidence, teamwork, and communication skills alongside peers from across the district.
Scholarships
We provide financial support to graduating students who demonstrate service, leadership, and a commitment to their community.
Youth Exchange (when applicable)
Through Rotary’s global network, students have opportunities to experience new cultures and build lifelong connections.
Interact Club Support
We partner with local high schools to support Interact Clubs, where students lead their own service projects and develop leadership skills in a Rotary-connected environment.
