International Service: Local Hearts, Global Impact

The purpose of a Rotary Club’s International Service Committee is to extend our commitment to service beyond local borders—to build peace, improve lives, and respond to urgent needs around the world. Through partnerships, humanitarian projects, and global grants, we live out Rotary’s vision of a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change.

At Erie Rotary, we’re proud to be part of that global mission. Each year, our club sponsors a ShelterBox, a life-saving emergency relief kit that provides families displaced by disaster or conflict with shelter, tools, and essential supplies. It’s tangible help, delivered when and where it's needed most.

We’ve also sent portable water filters to war-torn regions of Ukraine, helping communities gain access to safe drinking water in the midst of crisis.
